Used to calibrate pH meters. Each buffer solution powder constitutes 250 mL of buffer solution. These are essential for pH meters that have been used a lot or have not been used for a while. Over time pH meters will become less accurate, and recalibration ensures that the scale is accurate again. Eventually, the pH meter probe will need to be replaced but these buffer solutions will extend the life of the probe as well.
