How it works:
The dissolved air flotation system dissolves air in pressurised water inside a dedicated tank, then the pressure is released suddenly inside the treatment tank, releasing fine air bubbles. These bubbles attach to the suspended matter in the water, such as oils, grease and solid particles, lowering their density and making them float to the surface. The floating matter is collected with mechanical skimmers, while the clean water passes to the next treatment stage or is reused as needed.
This technology removes a large proportion of suspended matter, is easy to operate and maintain, and is efficient in energy consumption.
